Spanish-4-You is an effective, practical and fun program designed for busy people who need to learn Spanish fast with a solid foundation at the same time. This program allows students to work at their own pace in the convenience of their home or office with a fantastic instructor.

Our teaching system accommodates any type of business by customizing for specific professions. We just need to know two weeks in advance what the necessary vocabulary is and we will seamlessly integrate it into the program. Corporate students feel great satisfaction when they are able to put to use right away, with great confidence, what they have learned. Adults who just want to learn for fun or because they are planning on traveling to a Spanish-speaking country, will enjoy our more relaxed teaching style.

We are specialists in determining students' level by offering a short questionnaire and comprehensive placement test. With students who have previously taken some Spanish classes, there won't be any level guessing. We will know exactly what their strengths and weaknesses are so that classes can be very productive from day one. We will provide a formal assessment and the specific curriculum we recommend, as well as a specific timeline so that students can know how much they will learn in the amount of time they have requested.

The Spanish-4-You Workbooks were created by an experienced Spanish language teacher, Ms. Laura Zayas (Director). They are very visual with beautiful, original color artwork. The information is clearly presented and the grammar is explained in a simple but thorough manner. All the exercises are practical because they are based on real-life situations. Doing the vocabulary flashcards is an optional activity which we strongly suggest doing so that the student can have an easier time studying the vocabulary. The poster-size color illustrations shown by the instructor in each class are used to encourage students to speak.

In Workbook I there are 20 lessons. In Workbook II there are 20 lessons as well. The format is always the same. Vocabulary is presented first, then grammar, followed by written and oral sections. The vocabulary deals with the specific topic studied. Almost all the words related to that topic are presented. Next to the vocabulary word is the translation.

Each lesson focuses on a few grammatical points so they do not become overwhelming. The grammar is presented clearly without confusing terminology. There is no information clutter and color is widely used to emphasize concepts. The grammar is tied in with the vocabulary. All the examples in the grammar section use words from the vocabulary of that particular lesson.

The written exercises are based on the vocabulary and the grammar concepts. In every written section, there are dozens of beautiful color illustrations to make the learning process more enjoyable. Unlike most programs that require specific answers, many exercises in this manual are open-ended to encourage creative answers. Exercises are not boring, out-of-context “drills”. They are related to real-life situations. Toward the end of the program, students will be ready to write freely about certain topics related to their lives. In these instances, there are no right or wrong answers. The goal is not perfection but creativity and the ability to apply what they have learned. The oral exercises vary from listening to and writing what you hear, to answering questions orally. In every lesson, students practice writing, speaking and comprehension skills. Students will be able to learn how to properly communicate in Spanish in a short time. Since the lessons are so practical, students know that they can use with confidence what they are learning.
